Introducing Lumi — a tribute to winter’s quiet magic.
“Lumi,” the Finnish word for snow, reflects both my heritage and the season that
surrounds us here in Canada, where winter blankets the world in soft, shimmering
white. The blocks in this pattern are designed to echo the delicate geometry of
snowflakes, each one unique and full of charm. Paired with the Frosted Wishes
collection by Island Batik—with its gentle textures and beautiful variations of blue
—Lumi captures the serenity, sparkle, and spirit of a fresh snowfall.
