Learn how to 'Tuckerize' : Use Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design Wedge Tool to make the Alaska quilt.
In this class I made this rainbow version of this quilt. However, you can learn how to use this tool and apply the skills to any color version or size of the Alaska quilt.
For this class you need the pattern (any Alaska pattern), EITHER size of the Studio 180 Design Wedge Star OR Pint Size Wedge Star and Tucker Trimmer 3 is also highly recommended.
For this Alaska Rainbow you can use the Pint Size (this version has a 9 inch block). However, if you tend to make bigger quilts, you may want to purchase the full size Wedge Star tool (it can be used for this project as well).
